Famous for its adrenaline-filled adventure playground, Bowood House & Gardens is already a firm favourite with children of all ages. Now with our Tri Stars event series, children from as young as 9 years old can take part in the ultimate adventure - The Bowood House Triathlon.

TRI STARS 1 (AGE 9-10)
The Triathlon Tri Stars 1 event offers a 200m open-water swim in a calm private lake, a 3km bike followed by a lovely 1.5km run.
All age categories are determined by age as of 31st December of the competing year.

TRI STARS 2 (AGE 11-12)
The Triathlon Tri Stars 2 event offers a 300m open-water swim in a calm private lake, a 6km bike followed by a lovely 1.8km run.
All age categories are determined by age as of 31st December of the competing year.

TRI STARS 3 (AGE 13-14)
The Triathlon Tri Stars 3 event offers a 400m open-water swim in a calm private lake, a 9km bike followed by a lovely 2.4km run.
All age categories are determined by age as of 31st December of the competing year.

EQUIPMENT AND GEAR RESTRICTIONS
Competitors in all IRC (inter regional competition) qualifiers events MUST adhere to the strict equipment and gearing ratios. For full information, please visit this link before you enter. Checks will be conducted on the day of the event and If you do not have the correct gear ratios and are not able to rectify the ratios then you will not be eligible to qualify for prizes or IRC placings.

If your bike does not conform to the traditional racing bike then you will not be eligible to qualify for prizes or IRC placings.
